What Grayson Loves to Do
Grayson is walking more and more everyday. He is falling less and taking more steps. It is amazing the changes he makes everyday. He loves to give kisses (you say kisses and pucker your lips and he will kiss you...usually). He recently started shaking his head no, when you say no to him. It is so stinking cute! He is waving a little more consistently too. He has also discovered climbing. He knows what he wants and he will climb up the couch to get it. He also loves pushing his wipe box around and eating a snack while I eat breakfast. :)
Hiding the Baldness
So, we decided to cut his hair. This child has never been bald and was born with a baby cul-d-sac. His hair had gotten so long that he has had a few trims. He needed a hair cut to even things out.....well we forgot the guard while cutting his hair and VOILA we have a bald child. It has been 2 weeks since it happened....it is already coming in pretty well...thankfully! My sweet friend, Nickie made his Pooh hat and the Texas Tech inspired one :) LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!
New Friend
I met my new friend Nickie a few weeks ago! She was going to substitute teach a Zumba class and I wanted to go and meet the new girl in this area :) She had a series of unfortunate events (forgot her CD at another gym...went home and burned a new one and it did not work). I had started the class since she was running a little late since she had to drive all the way home, burn the CD, and drive back. I ended up teaching the whole class and we have been really good friends since :) She has a sweet little girl Avaleigh and lives close to me! It is always nice when I meet new mama friends that live near me vs. near the hospital (30 mins -1hour away depending on traffic). Here is a pic of her and her sweet baby girl. Did I mention how talented she is? She made both those hats for G within a day. She has an etsy shop for those of you that are interested in buying gifts for little ones or yourself! I highly recommend her!

Mommy Fun
I was able to go to a girls night out and a Zumba Instructor only dance night! It was super fun! I learned how to sew an infinity scarf ( I needed help since I have never really sown things, but it was super cool) Special thanks to Leiloni for giving me a mini lesson and lending me her awesome sewing machine!
The Zumba night was awesome. A bunch of different instructors taught a song each, but it was at a gym that is like a night club. It was dark, disco lights, huge stage for the teacher. So much fun and I was re-inspired and remembered why I fell in love with Zumba to begin with. It is easy to forget the love when you are teaching all the time and get in song ruts (need new music or routines but need choreography) I taught 6 classes in four days last week (2 double days (morning and afternoon).

His baby book and this picture frame is almost filled! What happened to my tiny baby??
Matt Update
Matt is about to start Wards. He is finishing clinic and starts wards on Saturday. He took a test today to see what areas he needs to study more in and what areas he is really excelling in. I am predicting a lot of excelling and minimal "areas of needing to study more". Just my humble opinion. I will miss the weekends off he was getting these past few weeks. Now he only gets one day off :( Oh well! Soon enough it will be Halloween. We will be dressing up as the Wizard of OZ. G will be the Lion, Daddy the Scarecrow and mommy as Dorothy. Pictures will be coming
We recently invited all of the people that are on Red firm...new interns, 2nd year residents (what Matt is) and 3rd year residents. WE had a few people show up, but it was super fun!
